Demond v. Workhorse Custom Chassis

Case #01-04-CA-4161 in the Eighth Circuit Court

After a RV Arbitrator erroneously dismissed the Consumer’s Lemon Law case, Cousins Law Firm convinced the Circuit Court to grant Summary Judgment in favor of Cousins Law Firm’s client, Mr. Demond.

The Manufacturer raised legal technicalities as defenses but Cousins Law firm moved the court to overcome the technical objection and the Summary Judgment ruling determined Mr. Demond’s victory without the need for a lengthy trial. The Circuit Court in essence found that the Arbitrator’s analysis of the law was wrong.
